Java Certification

I just schedule my Java 5 certification exam for June 12th at 2pm. Now I have a month to cram 10 chapters of the SCJP book. I spent 3 months going through the book already, I just need a refresher course.

I was debating whether or not to even take this exam because of a link that Bernd sent me recently about how certifications are pointless. Then, I read on Scott Hanselman's blog about people appending cerifications to the end of their names, as if they spent years in medical school!

In the end, I need more practice on the Java platform. Oh, and I won't add suffixes to my signatures. ;)

House Update

Our realtor in Austin, Tim, is the best realtor on the planet. We could not have asked for anyone better to help us through this process. Last night he sent us at least 50 photos of our house as it is nearing the final walk-through next Thursday.
